I'm a loving, open-minded visionary with a great sense of humor, good communication skills and an optimistic nature. With me, the glass is generally always half full, and there's always something useful / positive to learn, no matter the situation or circumstances. I'm a singer, avid bookworm, personal growth advicate, lover of all things Celtic, and life-long scholar. I enjoy history, philosophy, literature, comparative religion, a vast variety of music, meditating, and living near the majesty of nature. Somewhat of an introvert, I do need and enjoy my alone time now and then.
I'm drawn by the simple things in life... moonlit nights, birdsong, beautiful music, picturesque sacred spaces, big hugs, a good book and lots of laughter, to name but a few. Musically, my tastes range from Enya to Ella FitzGerald, from Cass Elliot to the Cranberries, from Kate Bush to Joan Baez, and the list goes on and on. Some of my favorite authors include Tolkien, Emily and Charlotte Bronte, Shakespeare, Nora Roberts (yes, I'm a romantic sap, LOL) and so many others. My favorite poet is Yeats. To say I'm diverse would be an understatement, but hopefully it makes me more interesting. :)
I do want to point out up front that I happen to be blind (I have light perception only), so if this freaks you out, turns you off or intimidates you to the point where you're too nervous to ask questions or get to know me in spite of that, please stop reading now. On the other hand, if you can deal with this fact and would have no difficulty in asking questions and talking openly about it, then please continue reading. I'm happy to talk about it and answer any questions you may have. I'm not stereotypical, nor am I shy!
I'm looking for a soul connection, best friend and life partner. I desire true, deep, lasting love... for a lifetime... for now and for always. I definitely desire interdependence in a relationship. I seek a loving lifemate, who will love me for who I am, yet who will always assist me in becoming a better person, as I will do for him. I desire a committed best friend and lifemate who sees the wonder and beauty of life, and who lives each day with passion, joy and humor. I consider open and honest communication and deep friendship vital in a partnership. Mutual trust, support and respect are also crucial, as is lots of laughter and deep conversation.
