I believe in the constant evolution of the mind, body and spirit. I try to learn new things as often as possible, and believe in honing the skills that I have already acquired. Currently, I guess I could best be described as a solitary Wiccan/eclectic. I look forward to the perpetual journey of discovery that is ahead of me. I like discussing a very wide range of topics, and enjoy the challenge of a friendly debate. I sometimes have a sarcastic sense of humor, but also have been know to burst out laughing at rather simple things. I am still a kid at heart, and like to try new things and go new places. I have two beutiful dogs, and I spoil them terribly, so I hope you would have a special place in your heart for dogs. Activities: I enjoy playing softball and pool on competitive leagues, have recently started studying yoga, and plan to also learn Tai Chi. Other interests: reading, my herb garden, music (all kinds). I am very mechanically inclined, and always have some kind of landscaping or home improvement project going. I guess most who know me would classify me as a tomboy (I think Home Depot is a great place for a handfasting registry ;)). I do, however, clean up well for dressy occasions. Career-wise, I’ve spent much of my adult life in school. I missed a lot of the fun most people have during their 20s, but I did earn a PhD for my trouble. Another side-effect of my career persuit is that I have never been married and have no children. This, however, is not a problem. I'm happy as I am and I'm not in a hurry to have either. I've finally gotten to the point where I don't have to be so dogged in building my career, and I want to enjoy what life has to offer. Being able to share things with someone would be a bonus and a blessing. Brightest Blessings! |
